Almost 8,000 people from more than 250 local companies participated last year. 93 cents of every $1 raised is spent directly on vital programs and services that provide hope for more than 2,000 infants, children and adults with disabilities. |

Carpet One Floor & Home donates 25% of the purchase price of our exclusive pink ribbon welcome mats to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (US) and the Canadian Cancer Society (CAN) in support of breast cancer research. Pink Ribbon welcome mats are available year round in participating Carpet One Floor & Home stores and come in a variety of designs for every season.

Don's Carpet One Floor & Home was glad to have the opportunity to participate in a local Birmingham Habitat for Humanity project. Don's Carpet One Floor & Home donated a beautiful kitchen floor and our installers volunteered to lay flooring throughout the home. The proud new homeowners received their keys on Easter weekend of 2009.

Relay for Life - East Jefferson

Don's Carpet One Floor & Home was sparked to participate in East Jefferson Relay for Life due to the many families within our company that have been affected by cancer. We raised over $600 for cancer research and hope to raise even more next year! |
Our Commitment to Animal Welfare
Our love of animals has led us to support several animal friendly causes. Most recently, we donated to the Save the Tiger Fund in conjunction with our new product launch, Tigressa Softstyle. It was a natural fit for us to spread the word about the Save the Tiger Fund and do what we could to help save the animals whose majestic beauty inspired our new line. We have also partnered with animal welfare charities such as the American Human Society, the Canadian Federation for Human Societies and the Delta Society through the Muddiest Buddies campaigns which featured our worry-free Relax, It’s Lees carpet that is perfect for pet owners. |

Dog Daze

The 29th Annual Dog Daze Festival was held at The Mall in historic downtown Trussville. This year the festival was held on Mother's Day week-end, May 8-9.
With our Relax it's Lees 25 year no exclusion stain warranty this was a great opportunity for Don's Carpet One Floor & Home to mingle with community pet owners.
Sandra Shaffer, Flooring Professional from our Trussville location, headed up our participation in Dog Daze. This was right up her alley considering her work with her own non-profit dog rescue, 2nd Chance Animal Sanctuary. |
